We are currently recruiting a Business Development/Sales Executive for our Client based in Aberdeen in the Food Industry.

Our client is a leading Fish wholesalers company based in Aberdeen, committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers, and take pride in their diverse range of products and dedication to excellence.

Job Description:

They are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their team and help them expand their reach and market presence. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a vital role in driving their growth strategy, forging valuable relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients, partnerships, and business opportunities within the Food industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners, nurturing these connections to drive business growth.
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and development.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations to pitch products and services to potential clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the Food/Beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends in the Food/Beverage sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and negotiate with potential clients.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.

Full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. A typical working day would be 7am - 3pm approx.

Competitive hour rate dependant on experience.

This is a temp-perm position: Successful candidates who excel in their role during the temporary period will be considered for direct permanent employment. This is your opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the success in a more long-term capacity after 3 months.
