We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team at a family-run meat processing business.
The successful candidate will contribute to the quality and efficiency of our meat processing operations and may have the opportunity for a permanent position based on their experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meat Processing Skills: Utilize previous meat processing experience or ideally, experience in a butchers' environment to perform skilled tasks in meat preparation.
- Knife and Equipment Operation: Demonstrate confidence in using knives and additional cutting equipment according to safety and quality standards.
- Cold Environment: Work comfortably in a cold environment, adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate protective gear.
Full-Time Hours: Work full-time hours, 5 to 6 days a week, with shifts running from 6 am to 3:30 pm or 7 am to 4:30 pm.
Requirements:
- Previous Meat Processing Experience: Candidates must have previous meat processing experience or ideally have worked in a butchers' environment.
- Knife Skills: Proficient in using knives and cutting equipment, ensuring precision and safety.
- Comfortable in Cold Environments: Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
Ideally, candidates should have their own transportation due to the remote location of the facility.
