We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Commis Chef on behalf of our client, a breathtaking hotel in Spittal of Glenshee.
This is a full time position, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Duties to Include -
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes in a fast paced environment
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
Qualifications -
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hygiene
- Background in hospitality
- Familiarity with food production processes and restaurant operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Shift times are spilt shifts, 5 days from 7
Weekly pay.
Live-in accommodation available, if required.
