We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established food manufacturer based in Fort William, for a Factory Cleaner / Hygiene Operative to join their team on an ongoing basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy and reputable food production environment, supporting high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site.

Job Details:

Pay: From £15.00 – £16.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, shifts vary between 6:00am – 5:00pm (typically 8-hour shifts)
Overtime: Available
Location: Fort William, Scotland
Position: Ongoing

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all production and factory areas are cleaned to a high standard
• Following strict hygiene, health & safety, and food safety procedures
• Cleaning production equipment, surfaces, and work areas
• Supporting hygiene schedules and deep cleaning routines
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals and materials
• Working as part of a team to maintain compliance standards throughout the site

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous cleaning or hygiene experience within a factory or food production environment is desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards (training can be provided)
