We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter on behalf of our client, a luxury hotel based in Ross-shire, located approximately 30 minutes from Inverness.

This is a seasonal position until October 2026

Duties to include -

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, pot wash area and equipment
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans efficiently throughout service
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required
• Keep storage areas clean, organised and well‑stocked
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
• Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth, safe and efficient operations
• Follow all food hygiene and Health & Safety procedures

Person Specification:

• Previous kitchen porter experience (desirable)
• Strong work ethic — reliable, punctual and able to work at pace
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a busy team
• Physically able to handle a role that involves standing, lifting and moving equipment

Hours: 15:00- 22:30, on a 5 days from 7 rota
