We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter on behalf of our client, a luxury hotel and restaurant based in the Alness area of the Scottish Highlands
Duties to include -
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Ensure workstations and food prep areas are clean and sanitized.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Support the kitchen team in any other duties as required.
Requirements -
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
This is a full-time position with varied hours, including weekend working and possible split shifts
