We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter on behalf of our client, a luxury hotel and restaurant based in the Alness area of the Scottish Highlands

Duties to include -

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Ensure workstations and food prep areas are clean and sanitized.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
• Support the kitchen team in any other duties as required.

Requirements -

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

This is a full-time position with varied hours, including weekend working and possible split shifts

Weekly pay
