We are currently recruiting Machine Operators on behalf of our client, a successful family-run farming business specialising in the growing and packing of root vegetables.

Machine Operator – Root Vegetable Packing

Pay: £14.00 per hour, increasing after training
Shifts: Dayshift 6:00am–4:00pm / Backshift 4:00pm–1:00am
Backshift Allowance: Additional £10.00 shift allowance per shift
Training: Full training provided

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within a busy food production and agricultural environment. Previous machine operating experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are keen to learn and develop within the role.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be trained to operate and monitor machinery used within the root vegetable packing process, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills across different areas of the operation, with ongoing training and an increase in pay once you have successfully completed the training period.

Shift Patterns

• Dayshift: 6:00am–4:00pm
• Backshift: 4:00pm–1:00am
• Backshift allowance: An additional £10.00 shift allowance will be paid when working the backshift.
