We are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, for our client based in Glasgow, G32.

Job Description-

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks
- Train Apprentice Engineers that are employed by the company.

As a Multi Skilled Engineer you would require to be 50/50 or at least have an Electrical Biase.

Qualifications-

- Candidates will hold a recognised apprenticeship in the UK.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and plumbing
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and logic controllers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills in English

Diagnose, Dismantle, Repair and Rebuild Motors, Gearboxes and Pumps. Experience preferred but as long as they have some experience I am willing to train in this area.

Designing and building of Electrical and Pneumatic panels and Circuits preferred, As long as they are willing to take up that challenge when here then I will consider others without this.

Designing and welding small metal projects but can include major pipework welding during projects

Working week 4.5 days 46 hours

Monday to Thursday is alternating between two day shifts

First Week Monday to Thursday Start time 6.00am till 4.30 pm Friday 6.00am till 12.00pm

Alternate Week Monday to Thursday Start time 7.00am till 5.30pm Friday 6.00am till 12.00pm

Then returns to first week, repeating again.

Also included, is what is called a Flexi Friday this means that every fourth Friday they are off with the extra hours worked over the other three weeks to cover this.
