We are currently recruiting A Nightshift Warehouse Assistant Supervisor for our client, an esteemed food supply provider based in Inverness.

As a Nightshift Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, your role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse during late-night hours.

This position is well-suited for an experienced individual who has a strong background in warehouse operations and has demonstrated supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Team Leadership:

Directly oversee the nightshift warehouse operations, managing a team of warehouse staff.

Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to ensure team members meet performance targets.

Candidates must have previous warehouse or similar environment experience.

Duties:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management and materials handling
- Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize business processes and improve overall efficiency
- Tracking and reporting
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques and equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Shifts: 10pm to 6am _ / _ Shift pattern will be 5 nights over 7 (every Saturday night is one night off and there is also another night off during the week.

Salary: £13.50-£14.00ph
