We are currently recruiting Prep/Dispatch Operatives on behalf of our client, a successful family-run farming business specialising in the growing and packing of root vegetables.

Pay: £14.00 per hour, increasing after training
Shifts: Dayshift 6:00am–4:00pm / Backshift 4:00pm–1:00am
Backshift Allowance: Additional £10.00 shift allowance per shift
Training: Full training provided

This is a great opportunity to join a busy food production and packing operation, with full training provided. Previous experience within food production, packing or dispatch is advantageous but not essential.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are keen to learn, work as part of a team and develop their skills within the business.

The Role

Working within the Prep / Dispatch Department, your duties will include supporting the preparation and dispatch of finished root vegetable products ready for delivery to customers.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Preparing products for dispatch
• Packing and labelling orders
• Checking products and quantities before dispatch
• Loading and organising products ready for delivery
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time
• Carrying out general duties within the department as required

Full training will be provided, allowing you to learn the processes and develop your skills within the department.

Shift Patterns

• Dayshift: 6:00am–4:00pm
• Backshift: 4:00pm–1:00am
• Backshift allowance: An additional £10.00 shift allowance will be paid when working the backshift.
