Our client, a busy and well-established poultry wholesaler, is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Production Supervisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and production experience to take on a key role within a fast-paced food production environment.

As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality standards, and health and safety requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting the production team to ensure daily targets are achieved
• Ensuring all health & safety and food hygiene standards are followed at all times
• Monitoring production processes, quality control, and output levels
• Allocating tasks and managing staff performance on the production floor
• Ensuring the team operates efficiently within a fast-paced environment
• Supporting with training and development of production staff where required
• Maintaining clear communication with management regarding production demands and staffing levels
• Assisting with stock control, production planning, and documentation where required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a production or food manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
• Good understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards
• A hands-on approach and willingness to support the team where needed
• Flexibility with working hours depending on production demands

Working Hours

Typical working hours are 7:30am – 4:00pm, however start and finish times may vary depending on production demand, so flexibility is essential.

Additional Information

This role is based on the outskirts of Fraserburgh, due to the location and limited public transport links, applicants will ideally need to be drivers or willing to commute reliably.
