We are seeking Seafood Scallop Processors/Packers to join our client's team situated on a picturesque island, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

As a Processor, you will be responsible for various tasks including scallop processing, washing, weighing, and packaging. This role demands a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy to ensure high-quality output.

Previous experience of processing scallops would an advantage, however if you have experience working withing the fish industry we would welcome your application, as full training can be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Process scallops according to established procedures.
• Clean and wash scallops to meet hygiene standards.
• Weigh scallops accurately for packaging and distribution.
• Package scallops efficiently and securely.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in seafood processing preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
