We are currently hiring for experienced & skilled Shuttering Joiner to join our clients construction team, based in Carlisle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced shuttering joiner looking to contribute to exciting projects and advance their career in the construction field.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications.
• Assemble and erect formwork for concrete structures, including walls, columns, and slabs.
• Install reinforcements and braces to support formwork as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and alignment of formwork to meet project standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction professionals to achieve project goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or joinery is preferred.
• CSCS or CPCS/NPORS.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Good time keeping.

Possibility of an hours travel, depending on location.
