We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering Principal Contractor, is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineers to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in high-profile civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, utilities, and large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage site activities to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct site surveys and setting out of works using total station, GPS, and other survey equipment.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with the project team to resolve technical issues and assist with the delivery of the project on time and within budget.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working as a Site Engineer within a Civil Engineering environment.
- Strong technical understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using survey equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS) and relevant software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- A commitment to health, safety, and quality standards on site.
- Valid CSCS card, and ideally, SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
