Site Manager (Civil Engineering) .

Highlands | £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year (DOE)

We are seeking experienced Site Managers on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company and take a key leadership role in managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all on-site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and health & safety regulations.
  • Manage and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient collaboration and performance.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Monitor site progress, resolving any issues that may arise and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure adherence to all industry regulations, quality control procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, method statements, and health & safety documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering projects, including highways, infrastructure, drainage, and groundworks.
  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • CSCS card and First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
