We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a major national construction firm for an exciting opportunity within their growing marketing team.

This is a fantastic role for a creative, driven, and hands-on content creator who enjoys producing engaging digital content while working in a fast-paced, real-world environment. You’ll play a key role in showcasing major construction projects across the North of Scotland, capturing behind-the-scenes footage, promoting company achievements, and helping strengthen the business’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and innovative social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Travel to active construction sites to capture:
  • Video content
  • Photography
  • Employee interviews
  • Project progress updates
  • Behind-the-scenes content
  • Produce and edit engaging short-form video content for reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars
  • Write compelling captions and schedule social media posts
  • Support recruitment campaigns and employer branding initiatives
  • Monitor social media performance and engagement analytics
  • Work closely with project managers, operational teams, and senior leadership to identify content opportunities
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and company messaging

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel regularly to construction sites
  • Previous experience creating social media content in a professional setting
  • Strong photography and videography skills
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with staff and stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Desirable but not Essential Skills

  • Marketing qualification or relevant degree
  • Drone operation licence/content experience
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns
  • Strong storytelling ability
  • Knowledge of social media trends and platform best practices
