We currently require a Steel Fixer for an ongoing contract in Carlisle.

Are you a skilled Steel Fixer looking for a rewarding opportunity in Carlisle? We are currently seeking experienced individuals to join our clients team for an ongoing project.

£21.00-£23.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Opportunity for ongoing work

Travel allowance may be available for eligible candidates

Weekly pay - all in house

Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering and architectural drawings to determine the layout and placement of steel reinforcements
• Measure and cut steel bars and mesh to required lengths
• Assemble and secure steel bars and mesh in concrete forms, footings, and walls
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on site

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Blue Skilled CSCS card
• Previous experience as a Steel Fixer is essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
